Tom Voorhees

Tom has spent the entirety of his professional career, spanning four decades, in the area of home-based health services, working for several reputable providers, before joining PromptCare as President and CEO in 2007.  During his 17 years there, he focused the organizations Respiratory Division on the development of high-tech, ventilator therapy and nutrition programs for medically fragile children and adults. In Home Infusion, the focus was directed toward the development of disease-focused, specialty infusion therapies for patients with chronic needs.  During his tenure, the business made multiple strategic acquisitions and successfully executed upon two Private Equity transactions, the first with Halifax, who sponsored the Company through its exit in 2021 after a four-plus year partnership.

Tom “retired” in 2022 but remains active as both an investor and Board Member with several PE backed healthcare services providers including PromptCare and Broad River Rehab, currently a Halifax portfolio investment.

He currently resides with his wife, Ellie, in Hilton Head, South Carolina where he enjoys cycling, kayaking and the many other activities living in the low country offers.  They have two grown children.
