Halifax Partners with Delphi Behavioral Health Group

Begins Building a Leading Addiction Treatment Platform

WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 10, 2017 – The Halifax Group (“Halifax”) announced today that it has completed a recapitalization of Delphi Behavioral Health Group LLC (“Delphi” or “the Company”), a leading substance abuse treatment provider. The Company operates eight treatment centers in California and Florida. Halifax partnered with Delphi CEO Dominic Sirianni, a licensed clinician, in this investment. Delphi management will retain a meaningful ownership position. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Delphi, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL, provides clinically-proven approaches to treatment across multiple levels of care, including detoxification, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient, across its family of facilities. Delphi is run by a dedicated, passionate management team, led by Mr. Sirianni, who has nearly two decades of experience in the addiction field.

“Delphi and Halifax have a shared vision to provide outstanding individual, group and family therapy and individualized care to all those we have the opportunity to serve,” commented Mr. Sirianni. “Halifax’s history and experience investing in the healthcare sector will be helpful to our mission as we continue growing our network and striving to offer exceptional clinical treatment to those in need. This sponsorship will enable us to build a national leader, expand our outpatient and after care and alumni programs, fortify our internal infrastructure, and upgrade systems to combat what has become a national epidemic.”

“We have evaluated the addiction treatment space extensively in recent years within our health and wellness vertical, crafted an investment thesis and are excited to embark on this journey with Delphi,” said Scott Van Duinen, Partner at Halifax. “We believe that Dominic and his team will continue providing the highest standard of care while expanding the Company’s footprint and offering greater access to services for more individuals struggling with addiction.”
